Tickled Pink is a beautiful compromise between American Pop and the bossa nova of Stan Getz and Astrud Gilberto for the early 1960s. Let’s hope for an entire album.
C. Michael Bailey, All About Jazz
Evocative and provocative, Tickled Pink, the latest single release from Corinne, out now and available everywhere, infuses a modern spin on bossa jazz. She flirts with a pop sensibility, as well as her lyrical romantic subject, yet maintains the integrity of the traditional style. The song is both an instant throwback to another time and a modern classic. With just one listen, your toes feel equally buried in the sandy beaches of Rio ’24 or ’64. Corinne is an old soul who offers both sanctuary to tradition and a pioneering modern style.
Produced and composed by her manager and collaborator, Eric Todd, founder of iProdigy, a jazz platform built to break new artists, leading off with Corinne, the production is pristine and her voice is sparkly and bubbly. The single positions the emerging artist to breakout in 2024.
All About Jazz called her “sheer genius,” while Music Crowns UK, a global social influencer platform with 4M followers noted Corinne’s “smooth and soulful style.”
The artist formally known as Corinne Mammana, Corinne is rebranding, which is remarkably a herculean effort even in the digital age, to align the global platforms in recovering her former followers and has repackaged her early singles in a new EP, Under the Covers, out now.
“Let’s Be In Love @Christmastime,” Corinne’s new holiday single and video drop on November 1, 2024. The classic Christmas meets bossa pop tune is to be featured in an upcoming major motion picture, yet to be named. Set for a US fall/holiday tour, building on last year’s inaugural successful run, this determined and earnest talent has successfully booked half of her planned twenty-five date tour including stops in Manhattan, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, and of course, her Christmas city and hometown of Bethlehem. Her music is a staple of Sirius XM's, Real Jazz Holiday.
Past performances include New York’s City Winery and Birdland, major festivals including Musikfest and Northwest Jazz Festival, and headline sets alongside Cyrille Aimée, Stacey Kent, Emmet Cohen, and Haley Reinhart.
If Corinne has her way, Tickled Pink will be the new black this summer.
