Not even the forecast of rain for memorial day weekend could keep thousands of devoted jazz listeners away from the annual Atlanta Jazz Festival held in Piedmont Park.

This year's 41st annual Atlanta Jazz festival highlighted a lineup on Saturday that featured women performers of which included Dianne Reeves, Terri Lyne Carrington, and Social Science, Jazzmeia Horn, Linda May Han Oh, Ingrid Jensen, and Tia Fuller. The festivities continued on Sunday featuring jazz artists The Bad Plus, Matthew Whitaker, Russell Malone, Cory Henry and the Funk Apostles, and Jon Batiste and The Dap Kings.
