I think it's safe to say that All About Jazz (which includes Jazz Near You) far exceeds any reader's expectations when they first visit the website. We regularly introduce new sections, new features, and we keep our design fresh with the goal of constantly raising the bar we set 22 years ago. As a result, we have much to offer our fund drive supporters, our members, our advertisers, and our readers. As we scale our platform to offer more features and more content, we'll also continually refine our navigation to make them easy to find.

Most of what is mentioned below applies to members who are signed in. If you are not a member, you can sign up by clicking the Sign Up link in the navigation bar above.

This article provides a half dozen how-to tips and shortcuts to help you find what you are looking for and it all starts with our new navigation bar and our new search/sitemap.

You can initiate a search by clicking either the gear icon or the search icon. The gear icon is visible when you are signed in.

Unless you plan to advertise, you will find everything else at All About Jazz is free: uploading events, uploading your business information, creating a musician profile, creating a member page, downloading the Jazz Near You app, etc.

If you have any questions, please post them to the comments section below.

Now, on with the tips...

Searching All About Jazz and Jazz Near You

You can either search our database by clicking the different tabbed sections of the overlay screen (e.g. Articles, News, Musicians, Events, etc.) or you can use the embedded Google option.

Changing Your password

You can also reset your password from the Sign In screen. If you don't receive the message immediately, check your spam or bulk folder.

Accessing your uploaded events

You can update or delete your events from your My Events page.

Accessing your photos

You can tag, title and add descriptive text from your Manage Images page.

Accessing your musician profile

Turn your musician profile page into a powerful electronic press kit by making sure it's current and complete. Fans are finding your profile and you don't want to disappoint them with a less than informative page. See our Musician Toolkit for additional tips.
